It appears like everlastingly back when the group was on a three-diversion win streak and seemed to blast their way towards a conceivable confrontation later in the season for a conceivable maintenance of the NFC East crown. Two embarrassing misfortunes later, and three on the season in general, they’re presently 5-5 looking to tourniquet the dying.

The once powerful Cowboys are presently anything other than, as they hook for a shot at a Wild Card spot. Remaining in their quick way are the Los Angeles Chargers, a group once the fool of the NFL prior in the year has gone ahead solid starting late as they incline the other way of America’s Team. A look at this matchup preceding the season gave the presence of a cupcake amusement for the Cowboys, yet hurl that sweet out of the closest window since this is turning out to be a back rear way bar brawl.

Cowboys vs Chargers

The redeeming quality for a Cowboys’ group clubbed by damage is the potential return of both All-Pro’s Tyron Smith and Dan Bailey to the overlap on Thanksgiving. That’ll absolutely help the crashed offense discover its way back to the tracks, however the barrier is another issue completely.

They appeared in the main half against the powerful Eagles they could close down an exuberant offense, however what occurred in the second half was absolutely humiliating for the unit all in all.Cowboys vs Chargers

After allowing only one touchdown and forcing the Eagles to go 0/5 on third downs over the first 30 minutes of football, they went on to allow five in the second half along with 30 points as their bitter rival flew off to a league-best 9-1 record at their expense. Now come the Chargers, having won four of their last six and are fresh off of a 54-24 beatdown on the Buffalo Bills.

For a Cowboys’ defense struggling to stop teams without Sean Lee, this is worrisome to say the least. The Chargers aren’t world beaters offensively but they do average just over 22 points per game, which could easily turn into 30+ with Lee on the sideline.

The Cowboys can ill-afford a third straight loss that would place them at 5-6, which would virtually demand the run the table to even have a shot at an NFC Wild Card berth. They’re out of sorts offensively and inconsistent defensively, looking very much like the .500 team they currently are. A victory on Turkey Day would go a long way to keep their hopes for January alive, and preventing a mountain of indigestion in their fanbase. Cowboys vs Chargers

Can they defeat the Chargers? Absolutely. The real question, however, is will they? Stay tuned.

The Cowboys will host the Chargers will clash at AT&T Stadium on Nov. 23 at 3:30pm CST on CBS.

The lead official will be Jerome Boger with Tracy Wolfson reporting from the sidelines, while Jim Nantz and Cowboys’ legend Tony Romo rain down commentary and analysis from the booth. If you’ll miss the visual but want to listen in, tune into Sirius/XM channels 88 (WW1), 82 (LAC) or 83 (DAL).

Those who want to become richer, or poorer depending on your luck, should note oddsmakers put the Cowboys and Chargers as even in a pick ’em scenario, according to Sportsline, with the over/under at +48.5. With the Cowboys recent struggles battling a hot Chargers’ team, it’s anyone’s guess how this one turns out.

Cowboys vs Chargers

Cowboys vs Chargers Live | That isn’t a mistype. When halftime hits, the Dallas Cowboys turn out to be extremely lost. I don’t know what is examined in the locker room, however it is nothing valuable. What’s more, this isn’t only a previous two amusement event, these burdens have been available all year.

It positively isn’t an ideal opportunity to begin looking at running Jason Garrett away, yet we need to call a spade a spade. The play-calling and changes essentially have not been satisfactory. It appears as though adversaries are two stages in front of Dallas after halftime. Cowboys vs Chargers Live

Last week Dak Prescott had his worst game as a professional and it’s not even close. I’ve written numerous times that without Ezekiel Elliott behind him, Dak would be able to prove himself capable of running the offense. Am I still confident in his abilities? Yes, but my optimism has been significantly drained. Losing arguably the best left tackle in football is obviously going to hurt, but Dak has just looked lost. In fact, the entire offense has been horrifyingly stagnant. Cowboys vs Chargers

Cowboys vs Chargers

The road doesn’t get much easier either, as the Los Angeles Chargers rank eighth in the league in points allowed per game and pass yards allowed per game. The Chargers have been turning over a new leaf after starting 0-4, going 4-2 since then. They are riding a huge wave of momentum after a gigantic win against the Buffalo Bills last week, with a final score of 54-24.

Both teams are trending in opposite directions. In fact, Las Vegas seems to think the same as the Chargers are favored in the contest by 2.5 points. The Cowboys being underdogs at home on Thanksgiving sounds like some sick twisted joke, but unfortunately that is the reality we have found ourselves in. Dallas’ season may very well depend on the outcome of this game. Cowboys vs Chargers Live

Dallas’ defense has been in deep trouble ever since Sean Lee’s injury in Atlanta. The Cowboys currently rank 20th in points allowed, and 26th in pass yards allowed per game. Teams just know how to get through the defense and Phillip Rivers will certainly be ready to air the ball out. It is absolutely crucial that Dallas’ pass rush can create enough of a presence to keep Rivers from hitting stride in order to help the young secondary. I fear that if this game turns into a shootout where LA lights the scoreboard up, the Cowboys will not be able to keep pace.

Regardless, this Thanksgiving day game means so much to the Dallas Cowboys franchise. When you consider the fact that this game has a major impact on their year moving forward, I see the Cowboys fighting hard to win a very close, competitive match. Cowboys vs Chargers

Prediction: Dallas Cowboys 24  –  LA Chargers 17

Falcons vs Seahawks

Falcons vs Seahawks | Week 11 in the NFL closes with a “Monday Night Football” blending of groups that are at an intersection because of a mix of key wounds and a Super Bowl aftereffect as the Seattle Seahawks (6-3) have the Atlanta Falcons (5-4) at CenturyLink Field. Seattle got back on track a week ago, beating Arizona 22-16 out and about on Thursday night in a severely physical amusement. Atlanta is falling off one of its better exhibitions of the seasons subsequent to directing Dallas 27-7 at home. The Falcons aren’t out of the NFC South race at this time, however can’t stand to fall any further behind the Saints (8-2) or Panthers (7-3).

For Seahawks, now like never before they will need to depend on the “following man up” hypothesis as a week ago’s win came at a substantial cost. All-Pro cornerback Richard Sherman is out for the season with a torn Achilles and four-time Pro Bowl security Kam Chancellor is likely done too with neck damage. The totality of the wounds on edge side of the ball is ending up extremely tricky and the unit’s profundity will be tried whatever remains of the season. Therefore, it will be dependent upon Russell Wilson and the offense to get a move on and convey this group as Seattle can tie Los Angeles for first in the NFC West with a win today around evening time. Falcons vs Seahawks

The last time these two teams met was in the Divisional Round of last season’s playoffs. Atlanta won 36-20 behind 338 passing yards and three touchdowns from Matt Ryan. Now the 2016 MVP gets another shot at the Seahawks and won’t have to worry about dealing with Sherman or Chancellor.

Three Things to Watch

1. Seattle offense vs. Atlanta defense

As has already been mentioned, the Seahawks’ offense will need to pick up the slack as the defense has been ravaged by injuries. Unfortunately, for Russell Wilson(above, right) and company, they could be getting Atlanta at an inopportune time. The Falcons held Dallas to just seven points and 233 total yards, while sacking Dak Prescott eight times and forcing two turnovers. After that performance it will be interesting to see how Seattle offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell decides to attack Atlanta. The Seahawks really need to find a way to run the ball more effectively, if anything to keep the Falcons’ pass rush at bay. You could see Seattle try to mix in some no huddle or add some tempo to try and wear down Atlanta’s defensive line. Also, look for plenty of zone read plays that give Wilson the option to run considering Cam Newton finished with 86 rushing yards against the Falcons in the Panthers’ 20-17 win a couple of weeks ago. One person Wilson definitely needs to keep a close eye on is Atlanta’s Adrian Clayborn, who exploded for six of the Falcons’ eight sacks last Sunday. That performance by Clayborn was the second-highest sack total for an individual player in the NFL since Derrick Thomas back in 1990. Falcons vs Seahawks

2. Matt Ryan and the Falcons’ passing game

Everything sets up on paper for Ryan to build off last week’s very efficient performance (22-for-29, 215 yds., 2 TDs, INT) against the Cowboys. The Legion of Boom right is a shell of itself with Richard Sherman and Kam Chancellor both out and Earl Thomas also battling his own injuries. Rookie cornerback Shaquill Griffin is going to have to grow up quickly as Julio Jones, Mohamed Sanu and Taylor Gabriel will look to take advantage of Seattle’s depleted secondary. Atlanta may even be more inclined to throw the ball rather than try to run it with leading rusher Devonta Freeman sidelined because of a concussion. It will be interesting to see the game plan that offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian comes up with. Again, Ryan had considerable success in his last game against the Seahawks in the playoffs, and that was with Seattle’s defense much more intact. Falcons vs Seahawks

3. Seattle front seven

Linebacker Bobby Wagner is arguably playing the best football of his career and he is going to have to step up along with the rest of the Seahawks’ front seven moving forward. This Seattle defense is not going to be able to rely upon the secondary being able to provide lock-down pass coverage so expect for defensive coordinator Kris Richard to come up with different ways to put pressure on the quarterback. With Michael Bennett, Sheldon Richardson, and Frank Clark playing well along the defensive line the Seahawks have the personnel to be more aggressive with blitzes but there is a risk to this strategy. If you don’t get to the quarterback, you could give up big plays, especially going against an All-Pro-caliber passer like Ryan and his collection of pass catchers.

Final Analysis

Normally, a “Monday Night Football” game in Seattle would present the real possibility of a blowout where fans nationwide tune out early. However, this game should be one that goes down the wire as long as both teams take care of the football. Russell Wilson and Matt Ryan should each have plenty of opportunities to produce enough big plays through the air that this game could feature plenty of scoring. Despite all of the injuries on defense, look for the Seahawks to sneak away with another very close win at home thanks to some late-game heroics from Doug Baldwin or Jimmy Graham as Seattle ties Los Angeles for first place in the NFC West while Atlanta falls to .500. Falcons vs Seahawks

The over-under, or add up to number of focuses Vegas thinks will be scored in the diversion, is 44.5, down a half-point from an open of 45.

Before you wager on a prominent amusement like this, you’ll need to hear what veteran handicapper Josh Nagel needs to state. He’s won various impeding challenges and been in the business for about 20 years. Seahawks vs Falcons

Part of his success: a West Coast insider, he’s a whiz at picking Seahawks games, regardless of who they’re playing. Amazingly, he’s gone 7-1 picking for and against them since last year and has his finger on the pulse of Pete Carroll’s team.

Nagel knows the Falcons steamrolled the Dallas Cowboys last week, 27-7. Dallas was without all-world RB Ezekiel Elliott, All-Pro left tackle Tyron Smith, and difference-making linebacker Sean Lee.

Falcons wideout Julio Jones is fifth in the NFL in receiving yardage at 715, while QB Matt Ryan is ninth in passing yardage at 2,372. Atlanta also has the seventh-ranked defense. Seahawks vs Falcons

But just because the Falcons are coming into Monday night hot doesn’t mean they stay within a three-point spread, especially on the road in one of the NFL’s loudest stadiums.

Seahawks vs Falcons

The Seahawks just lost CB Richard Sherman to a torn Achilles, but Seattle is still a top-five defense in points allowed at 18.3. And aside from Deshaun Watson’s heroics three weeks ago, the Seahawks have given up 44 points total at CenturyLink Field this season. Seahawks vs Falcons

Seahawks QB Russell Wilson has caught fire, tossing 11 TDs in the last four games and topping 300 yards twice over that span. He also rushed for 77 yards against the Redskins two games ago.

And despite Seattle struggling to establish a rushing attack, Wilson has been able to air it out effectively. Entering Week 11, he’s second to Tom Brady in passing yardage at 2,543.

Nagel thinks Seahawks vs. Falcons will go over, but there’s one team he knows is a very strong play to cover. He’s sharing which one it is over at SportsLine.Seahawks vs Falcons

Patriots vs Raiders live

Patriots vs Raiders | The Raiders and Patriots will most likely play extraordinary compared to other recreations on the NFL slate this week in spite of the fact that the scene will be in Mexico City. Oakland’s as of now played a diversion there, beating the Texans 27-20 of every 2016. Oakland head mentor Jack Del Rio credited the environment in Azteca Stadium with making it disagreeable for Houston last season. The other off-the-field storyline was the pointing of laser pointers at Texans beginning quarterback Brock Osweiler, who said it was an issue for him in the second quarter. The group will be an entrancing variable in this challenge

The Raiders have righted the ship a bit with wins in two of their last three after a four-game losing streak. Derek Carr and the offense has turned it over six times the last two games, but they are hoping the bye week will help them fix that. Marshawn Lynch hasn’t exactly had the impact the team had in mind, although he had two touchdowns back on Nov. 5 against the Dolphins. The problem for Oakland comes on the defensive side of the ball where the Raiders are getting gashed through the air.Patriots vs Raiders

Ironically though, the poor defensive numbers look fantastic in comparison to their opponent. New England is giving up more than 280 passing yards and nearly 410 total yards per game. The team is currently on a five-game streak of holding opponents to under 20 points although only Atlanta could be considered as a team with an offensive pulse in that group and the Falcons aren’t the same team when they play outdoors. The Patriots’ offense has been fantastic as the game plan has shown more commitment to the run. They’ve averaged more than 30 carries per game over their last three. Tom Brady has been magical under center, especially when you consider he’s 40 years old. They’ve won five in a row and are entering an interesting stretch of five of six games away from home.

New England vs. Oakland (Mexico City)

Kickoff: Sunday, Nov. 19 at 4:25 p.m. ET

TV Channel: CBS

Spread: Patriots -7

Three Things to Watch

1. Turnover battle

As mentioned above, Oakland has become a little careless with the ball as of late. In a potential shootout situation, the Raiders can’t really afford to turn the ball over. Making this even worse is the fact that the defense isn’t forcing things with just two takeaways over their last six games. The Patriots don’t make a ton of mistakes with just five turnovers over their last seven contests. Tom Brady doesn’t throw too many interceptions and the running backs know that any sort of fumble gets them in Bill Belichick’s doghouse. Oakland has to win this turnover battle if they hope to win the game.Patriots vs Raiders

2. Brady vs. Carr

Derek Carr is smoking hot right now, throwing more than 1,000 yards over his team’s last three games. He’s attempted 131 passes during that span and that’s probably too much, but when he’s on, this team is going to succeed. If you noticed during losses to the Chargers, Broncos and Redskins, he threw for fewer than 200 yards and had four interceptions. The Patriots are vulnerable in the back end, especially to quality receivers like Michael Crabtree and Amari Cooper. New England’s defensive strategy is generally try and take one thing away from its opponent, so I imagine the Patriots load up their coverage on the outside meaning tight end Jared Cook could become a big factor.Patriots vs Raiders

Brady leads the league in passing yards and that total should continue to go up against an awful Raiders secondary. He’s averaging around 42 pass attempts per game giving him plenty of opportunities to move this offense down the field. Oakland’s D is terrible against tight ends so I’m sure Rob Gronkowski will find the end zone and do some sort of touchdown dance in honor of the fans in the stadium. The only quarterbacks that Oakland has had success against as of late are Tyrod Taylor (now benched), Joe Flacco (who may not be elite) and Trevor Siemian (who definitely is not elite). Carr is going to have to do his part if the Raiders want to keep up.

3. Run, run, run

  • Rex Burkhead made the Patriots backfield even more convoluted after his performance in the win over Denver. He showed himself to be effective as both a runner and out wide as a receiver. Dion Lewis seems to be the primary back while James White saw less time as the pass-catching option. Oakland’s defense has held three of its last four opponents under 100 rushing yards. We know that the Pats just use the run to keep teams honest much like the Raiders do. They don’t run it too much themselves although they probably should with Marshawn Lynch and Jalen Richard as well as DeAndre Washington. I know that it’s not in their nature, but the team should probably go to a ball control-type offense. I don’t think they can win a shootout with New England and they are better off trying to grind out a victory.

Ravens vs Packers live

Not with standing playing his best round of the season for the Packers in a 23-16 street prevail upon the Chicago Bears a week ago, books are still not getting tied up with quarterback Brett Hundley, who is required to play regardless of a sore hamstring.

Why the Ravens can cover the spread

The Ravens have a clear edge at quarterback with Joe Flacco under center even though he has not played like a former Super Bowl-winning player this season.

You can also make an argument that Baltimore’s John Harbaugh is a better head coach than Green Bay’s Mike McCarthy even though both have helped their respective teams win a Vince Lombardi Trophy.

The Ravens have gone 12-3 straight up and against the spread in their last 15 games following a bye, and Harbaugh deserves a lot of credit for that preparation. Ravens vs Packers

Why the Packers can cover the spread

Other than the post-bye week betting trend, most of the others favor the Packers in this spot. They have won five of the past six meetings with Baltimore both SU and ATS, taking four straight in the series at Lambeau Field as well.

Green Bay is also a solid 18-6-1 SU in its last 25 home games against teams with losing records and proved last week Hundley is capable of playing better than he did in his first two starts replacing Aaron Rodgers.

Hundley will be motivated to earn his first home win here.Ravens vs Packers

Smart pick

The biggest betting trend supporting the home underdogs in this matchup is the fact the Ravens are just 1-6-1 ATS in their last eight games as road favorites.

While the Packers scored just 17 points each in home losses to the New Orleans Saints and Detroit Lions with Hundley under center, Baltimore is worse than both of those teams.

In fact, the Ravens lost 27-24 at home to the Bears in Week 6, and they will fall to 0-3 versus NFC North teams if they drop the game at Green Bay on Sunday.

The Ravens are 1-5 SU and ATS in their last six games against the Packers.

The total has gone over in 13 of the Packers’ last 16 games.

The Ravens are 12-3 SU and ATS in their last 15 games after a bye.
